AFTER DEATH... Funeral Arrangements
Accidental Family Reunion
The occasion evolved into a wonderful family reunion. All the children and grandchildren (and most spouses) were able to come to Hawaii for the funeral. And to my surprise, some "long lost" cousins (children of my Dad's oldest brother) came as well.
Many relatives from my mother's side of the family came. There were also many friends of my mother attending -- especially Baptist pastors and wives that my parents had known during their many years serving in Hawaii. We estimated an attendance of about 300 at Mom's memorial service.
