Death Wishes
 We also talked with my parents about their wishes regarding content of the memorial service (favorite hymns) and location of burial (Hawaii? California?). We also had them write down (in their own hand writing) what special items they wanted their children to have. For example, Mom wanted me to have her teak "hope" chest since she had already given a cedar one to my sister. She and Dad wanted my sister to inherit their share condo membership in Palm Springs. At the suggestion of the estate lawyer, we transferred the deed to my sister before my parents died.
