AFTER DEATH... The Shocker

Last Conversation
One Thursday night (August 2nd, 2001), after I testified at a controversial Honolulu State Board of Education meeting, I arrived home just as Dad and Mom were going to bed. Mom blew me a kiss and said, "I want to hear all about your meeting tomorrow." I said "Okay, Mom. Sweet dreams."
The next morning, I left before breakfast to go do some computer testing for my website. I usually prepared breakfast for Dad and Mom, but Betty volunteered to take care of it that day. My folks usually came out of their bedroom around 7:30am. By 8am, she was wondering why they were sleeping in so long. Just about that time, Dad came in the living room saying, "I can't wake up Blanche." Betty entered the bedroom only to discover Mom had died in her sleep.
