What About My Career?
 Betty and I discussed which of us was going to stay home with them. I wanted to be the one. After all, they were my parents and I wanted to spend as much time as I could with them, especially since I had no clue as to how long they would live. Fortunately, I had started an income producing website, www.BareFeats.com, back in 1995. It was an endeavor that only took part of my time and only rarely required me to leave home. Betty had taken a job with the YMCA. She later started a graphic design business so she could be home to help me.
Other Issues
There were other issues that we should have discussed and settled before my parents moved in, but those things had to be worked out after the fact, I'm speaking of issues like,
1. "Do I need power of attorney and under what conditions?"
2. "What do we do with all their stuff?"
3. "Who pays for what?"
